Provide local offices for in-person assistance

At the Office for the Aging, we constantly have people coming in to ask us about Social Security benefits. We do not have that expertise, and refer people to the 1-800 number. But people tell us they can not get the answers they need by calling the 1-800 number or looking on-line. They want to discuss their individual situation with a real person one-on-one. Campaign: 2025 and beyond

Expand SS Benefits-Lift the Cap

The main way to keep Social Security solvent for years to come is to lift the current cap of taxable income, so everyone gets taxed on all of their income. That would solve the future SS payments shortage.

I also think that all of the SS offices in every community should be kept open.

Lastly, the SS Trust Fund should be preserved; no privatization of it!
